Meet Dr. Robin Ryan, new GCISD Superintendent

The Grapevine-Colleyville ISD Board of Trustees, acting upon a motion by Board President Charlie Warner, voted unanimously to officially approve Dr. Robin Ryan as GCISD's new superintendent during a special meeting on June 14.

Dr. Ryan then addressed the audience, saying that "As I look to the future I do so with a lot of hope - hope because of the team, because of the kids we have, because of the strong community support we enjoy, and because of the strong Board we have leading our District."

With no other business to attend to, the Board adjourned to a reception where those in attendance had a chance to meet and speak with the new Superintendent.

La De Da Pet Spa hosted a "Dog's Night Out", giving four legged friends and residents of Colleyville a chance to experience the new facility and meet the owners and staff. The opening of La De Da Pet Spa marks the first “pet boutique” in the Colleyville area specializing in dog grooming, pet sitting, and puppy play time. Almost 100 people attending were treated to food, drink, prizes and special offers from La De Da.

Along with a raffle drawing, the dogs in attendance had a moment to shine in a “Best Dressed” competition. The winner was a surf-boarding pup by the name of Coco, whose owner, Dee Dee, plans on bringing her to La De Da for a little pampering. Catering for the mixer was provided by Peter’s Pizzeria, Jenni’s Confections, and Party Angels.
