OurGreatCity.com "adopts" a sandwich at Weinberger's

Once a year, Weinberger's Deli in Grapevine holds their March Madness month, and just like the NCAA, they have a bracket board. They take 64 sandwiches and seed them 1 through 16 in four divisions. The sandwiches battle it out until there is a Sandwich of the Year.

This year, local businesses and residents can ‘adopt’ a sandwich for the tournament. For a minimum donation of $50 to the American Red Cross you can adopt one of the 64 sandwiches. By random drawing, OurGreatCity.com adopted the "Cheese Steak" sandwich.

If the OurGreatCity.com "Cheese Steak" sandwich wins, the funds will go towards our chosen charity, the Relay for Life/American Cancer Society.

The first round ends March 14th. We need all of our readers to go to Weinberger's Deli in Grapevine during the next week and buy the "Cheese Steak" sandwich.
