The mission of Covenant Christian Academy is to provide a biblically based, classical, college preparatory education that inspires a passion for excellence, a heart of grace and the character of Christ.

Founded in 1979, Covenant Christian Academy’s success has been built on three foundational pillars. First, we are a Christian institution, founded and maintained for God’s glory above all other considerations. We would not exist if it was not for the grace of God, and we know He is our eternal sustainer. As a result, the greatest goal of education is in directing students to know and worship their creator and savior. This then bolsters learning in all areas, as students work from a grounded perspective that acknowledges absolute truth and the potential for real knowledge.

Second, we are classical both in educational content and pedagogical structures. We take the very best of human history to craft a program that answers the educational needs of God’s people, and we apply it in a manner that makes them effective for His purposes in a rapidly changing society. The classical structures of the Trivium (Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric) unite with the great works of Western civilization to build in-depth thinking skills and rhetorical prowess. We direct each student to apply these newly cultivated strengths to math, science, language, history, and philosophy, building a well-rounded graduate who is equipped to pursue whatever college and career path God reveals.
Third, we are a covenant family, committed to the loving relationships that should exemplify God’s people. Our responsibility as a school is to partner with parents in the education of their children. We strive to maintain biblical standards that require righteousness that proceeds out of the grace given to us by our God. This paradox is achieved only in love. The Apostle John went to great lengths to preserve this perspective for God’s people. As a result, we endeavor to live in Christian community.

Covenant is a proud member of TAPPS, Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools, and is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) since 1998 and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) since 2002. We serve students ages PreK 3 through grade 12 and are located on a beautiful nineteen acre campus in the heart of Colleyville.
