It was a great time at Lakefest 2010!
The American Cancer Society hosted the first Lakefest 2010 in Grapevine, as an outshoot of the very popular Lakefest held for the past several years in Lewisville. Organizer Shannon Funk was projecting 1200 visitors and $20K in funds raised for the American Cancer Society.
Headliner Bowling for Soup put on a great show
There were plenty of vendors in attendance, such as 105.3 FM The Fan, La De Da Pet Spa, GameTruck, and American Teddy Bear Company to provide information and fun activities for all ages. Several bands provided music during the 10 hour festival, and was headlined by Denton-based band, Bowling for Soup.

Tickets were $15 for general admission, and VIP tickets were available for $100 which provided access to a special seating area with free food and drink. The venue was provided by Scott's Landing.
