Stein Mart supports the Community Enrichment Center

Stein Mart had its "soft" grand opening on March 6th for only invited customers. What made this opening special was the support offered to the Community Enrichment Center.

Savings card sales were brisk for the CEC

From 10 AM to 4 PM, Stein Mart customers were offered the opportunity to purchase a discount card for $5 that gave them $5 off their purchase and 20% off another item. All of the proceeds from the card sales went to the CEC.

"We were very excited and jumped at the opportunity when Stein Mart called us", said Brandy Schimmel. "It's going to be a great fund-raiser for us."

Advance card sales offered not one but two items at 20% off. Before the doors even opened, the CEC has sold 300 cards. By noon, they were approaching 500 cards sold.  The CEC hoped to sell close to 1000 cards.
