Our Great City

The Watson Family - Curtis, Beth, Will, and Jake love living in the Grapevine/Colleyville area. Curtis and Beth both grew up in Corpus Christi. As an A&M Aggie and TCU Horned Frog, Curtis and Beth (respectively) wished to remain in Texas. They settled in North Texas in 1995 and were excited to move to Grapevine in 2003, particularly due to the exemplary GCISD schools and all of the community activities of Grapevine. Their Yellow Lab, Sackett, joined their family in 2008.

Curtis is a Realtor with Century 21 in Colleyville. He is an active volunteer with Boy Scouts of America and the Men's BBQ Ministry at Compass Christian Church. Curtis is also involved with Young Life and loves outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing.

Beth is beginning her fifth year on the O.C. Taylor Elementary School PTA Board, having served in a variety of roles, and serves on the GCISD Council of PTAs. She volunteers with Cub Scouts and other community organizations, and enjoys Bible study, tennis, and scrapbooking.

Will is entering 5th grade, is a passionate reader, a Webelos II Cub Scout, and loves cooking. Jake, who is entering 3rd grade, is a competitive gymnast, a Cub Scout, and loves building with Legos.

The Watson family continues to believe that the Grapevine/Colleyville area is an excellent place to live and raise a family. They enjoy being part of such a wonderful and caring community and feel honored to be recognized as August’s Family of the Month.
