AMBUCs Benefit Dinner and Golf Tournament

The Grapevine AMBUCS, a group of local business owners, held their annual benefit dinner/auction and golf tournament. Several hundred people attended the dinner/auction that was held at Austin Ranch at the Hilton DFW Lakes hotel, and included a barbecue dinner, live music, drinks, and a silent and live auction. The featured speaker was Rich Behm, the Dallas Cowboys coach that was paralyzed from the waist down when the training facility collapsed in a thunderstorm.

More importantly, the crowd was able to see the direct results of some of the AMBUCS philanthropic mission. Also featured were Drew Bell and Andrew Elmore, who received specially designed trikes, called Amtrykes, that allow them increased mobility.
